A shared platform for safer surgery
ASIRAJ 2026 is the annual conference of the Rajasthan Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India. The 2026 theme was "Shaping the Future of Surgery: Impact and Challenges in General and Minimal Access Techniques". The programme opened with pre-conference workshops on 2 October 2026, followed by the main conference on 3 and 4 October 2026 at Riddhi Siddhi Resorts, Jaipur–Jodhpur Bypass Road, Bikaner.
Faculty at a surgeons' conference teach as well as attend: they present cases, techniques and video, take part in panel discussions, and answer questions from fellow surgeons. Dr. Tank's session drew on a problem met in everyday emergency practice — removing an acutely inflamed gallbladder that has already perforated.
Sharing surgical experience, techniques and outcomes with the wider surgical community.
