This is a single-surgeon clinical practice, not a large editorial publisher — we're upfront that content reflects Dr. Avinash Tank's own training and 25+ years of surgical experience, rather than a multi-author newsroom.
2. Our review process
Before publication, clinical pages are checked for medical accuracy against Dr. Avinash Tank's own training (SGPGIMS (India's premier GI centre) + advanced training in Japan & South Korea) and established surgical practice. Author credentials and a "Medically reviewed by" byline appear on every clinical article — never anonymously.
We deliberately avoid vague claims like "clinically proven" or specific outcome percentages that can't be individually verified for every reader's situation — where we do state a number (e.g. years of experience, surgery count), it comes from Dr. Avinash Tank's actual practice record.
3. Sourcing standards
Content is grounded in established surgical and gastroenterology practice, Dr. Avinash Tank's clinical training, and, where cited, published research referenced on our Research page. Patient case studies and testimonials are real, documented or consent-based accounts — we do not publish fabricated patient stories, invented statistics, or unverifiable ratings.
4. Keeping content current
Clinical pages carry a "Last reviewed" date. Our most recent site-wide medical content review was completed in July 2026. Medicine changes — if you believe something on this site is out of date, please tell us (see Section 7 below) and we will review it.
